Versa Does Custom Furniture – Part 1

Having adequate space for many activities and functions are essentially important. This is most true for the increasing primary and secondary schools across America. Most of these institutions are gaining students by the thousands every year and suddenly they are faced with problems like overcrowding among many others. Another dilemma that burdens the faculty is the task of finding the appropriate furniture that is to be used inside the classrooms. Desks, chairs, tables and cabinet sizes must be able to accommodate the capacity of the students and must be deliberately measured to optimize the space of room efficiently.

Versa Products, Inc., the Los-Angeles based manufacturer and retailer or high-quality classroom and office furniture have a solution to the on-going problem. They manufacture their furniture to custom fit their customers area specifications. Christopher Stormer, the Director of Marketing knows the importance of desk size when he worked with a school district in New York. “They sent us the blue print of their computer lab drawn to scale and told us they wanted to fit sixty students comfortably in that room.”

At first, Christopher thought it was impossible. He gathered his engineers and top designers together, told them what they wanted and they all just looked at each other puzzled. But after brainstorming on how to go about with the design, Versa accomplished the task by thinking outside the box. “We came up with a room layout that made sense, and developed a table especially for that district. Our Adjustable classroom table, but instead of a 30″ width, we scaled the table down to 24″ wide x 72″ in length, and then furnished each table with LCD monitor arms to make up for the lost space,” Stormer explains.
