New Old Cubicles
While setting up an office may prove to be a great move for the company, it should also be taken into consideration that this move may be expensive. It is indeed a huge step especially for the budget, to buy all the necessary equipment and electronic devices for the work, and to get ergonomic office furnitures for the employees. This could be a reason on why people usually turn to refurbishing cubicles, because they can save a lot of money from the budget. All one has to do is to figure out how to regenerate, or renovate these cubicles in such a way that they would not appear to be all worn-out.
It is an astonishing fact that purchasing new cubicles can cost as much as $5,000 per workstation—this of course being the most expensive that it could go, but then again it still depends on the retailer. Renowned companies are usually the ones who are able to pay for this kind of pricey cubes since they bank a lot on the company’s image. However, after five or ten years, they will sell these cubicles back to its manufacturers so that they could get and entirely new set-up, therefore giving small businesses the chance to get the same top-notch cubes at such a low price.
The manufacturers of the cubicles will then take these used cubes to do an extensive amount of refurbishing such as replacing the fabrics, re-coating the metal surfaces, or repairing any damaged hardware and inspecting the units for its total condition. If they have been proven to have structural problems then they will be fixed. But if not, they will not be sold, so one need not worry. Since, these refurbished cubes are made to order, one will have the opportunity to be presented with a lot of choices as compared to buying stocked ones. From fabric to the finishing to the configurations and accessories—one will be able to get the desired cubicle needed.
