Million Dollar Makeover
Andrews Office Furniture provides top of the line office furniture, furnishing and design solutions, new and second hand office furniture for sale or rental to a wide selection of commercial businesses and those in the home office environment as well.
Plans of investing and redeveloping have just been established as the company just allocated $2 million for the renovation of the former Brady’s Chiropractic Center in the Wodonga City Council. The new center would showcase a two-storey showroom, bulky goods store and commercial office space. The construction will most probably be completed in different series, and will be a landmark or a signature building for the whole Wodonga area.
Recently, the council took a planning scheme amendment, an alteration to rezoning of the 2300sq m section of the site on High Street which is nearby the city’s freeway. The amendment is still subject for approval by the Planning Minister, Justin Madden.
Owner, Scott Andrews, has plans to redesign and lease their existing 420 sq m building which he acquired last December of 2005. As of the moment, Andrews is speaking with possible lessees for the building who would have a chance to rent a space at the new building once construction is finished. The company owner stated that he has been looking for a site that could replace their existing one, and the former chiropractic center is the most suitable they’ve seen and this is due to the space it has which can accommodate delivery trucks and can be reached from different locations.
Andrews Office Furniture offers everything from workstations, steel shelves, office desks and chairs, interior furniture products, and they assist customers with coordination, layout plans and project and space management. Andrews has it all whether for the office, industry, home or workshop and it gets even better once the $2 million construction of the new site is completed.
This budget though is allotted only for constructing the building, any further fit-out for lessees would be another story. Currently, Andrews has given drawing perspectives and concepts which would outline the look of the new building to the Wodonga City Council. The principal features of which would include a car park which has a capacity of 60 spaces or more, and a delivery area that is easily accessible from any direction.
