Simple rearranging of office furnitures can exude a harmonious flow energy that creates an environment of comfort and productivity. First, scan the office area as to know where to fit the furniture. Your back should be facing the main wall as to avoid the feeling of dead weight around enclosing on you. Second, the main office desk where you sit must face the entrance of the room so you have a view of everyone that comes in and out. Third, the filing cabinets must be organized well to avoid clutter and confusion. Alphabetize and classify where certain paperwork must go to minimize wasted time sorting things out. Fourth, provide sufficient storage for equipments where they can be conveniently loaded. Place them where they can be easily accessed. Fifth, place admirable decors around the office. Put pictures of your family near your computer screen to remind the comfort of home. Place a landscape painting of a scenic mountain to relive the stress surrounding the room. Lastly, be clean. Disposal bins should be placed under the workstations so that everyone will not have to stand up again and again.

*      Air-circulation is very important in the office atmosphere. Researchers have found out traces of mold, bacteria, viruses, carbon monoxide and many other atrocious chemicals in companies that have poor air circulation in their offices. These elements can truly be harmful to anyone’s health. One of the simplest way to prevent the spread bacteria, according to a research done by NASA, is by making use of the common houseplant. According to them, NASA space stations have cleaner air if even just one houseplant is placed inside. Have a plant placed near your office desks to clear the air while also adding a touch of nature to the environment. In addition to the plants, you could also get small air purifiers that are great for neutralizing the air. These devices are available in most households stores and cost only a few bucks.
