Flexible Office Furniture
For quick, short-notice meetings and conference hosting, flexible office furniture perhaps provides the most ideal solution. They can be stored easily virtually in any space and are very compact and effortless in assemble. Best, these pieces are lightweight, giving anyone no sweat when it comes to arrangement. Here are samples to look for.
Folding banquet tables
Most appropriate for conferences, office parties, or just about any occasion where fast and easy set-up is required. These types of tables are manufactured with sturdy steel legs and tops of durable plastic–covered particle board or rugged polyethylene (a resin that’s about 35% lighter than wood) that resists chipping and peeling. Fairly lightweight, folding tables weigh only about 60 to 70 pounds. This means that one or two people can move them around with ease. Plus, these types could even be substitute receptions desks for company gatherings.
Meeting room tables
These slender room tables are perfect for those instantaneous brainstorming sessions at the workplace. Most are made from steel and gave tops coated with laminate or melamine, durable materials that resist scratches, abrasions, and stains. Some even have casters for added mobility or height–adjustable work surfaces. Storage space is at minimum and just about anybody could set it up.
Folding chairs
Perhaps the most common of all flexible furniture, folding chairs are used in almost all possible ways. From ball games to outdoor weddings, from wrestling matches to birthday celebrations, the flexibility of it is incomparable. Inside the workplace, these types serve as transient office chairs for extra occupants.
Stacking chairs
Basically, stacking chairs are the executive types of folding chairs. Most stackable chairs have metal legs, with padded fabric seats and backrests. The fabric, which is treated with a stain resistant coating, comes in a variety of colors and textures. Usually sold in cartons of three or four, and come in various styles, some with arm rests, these types of chairs could be stacked together from five to twelves pieces.
