Alliance Enters the Aaron Rents Franchise Program

Aaron Rents, Inc. is a leader in the sales and lease ownership and is known for specialty retailing and renting out residential and office furniture, consumer electronics and home appliances and accessories. The company had announced that it went into an agreement with a company who is an operator of ten stores throughout north Texas, Alliance Rental Centers, L.P., primarily to convert seven Alliance stores into Aaron Rents’ franchise program.

These stores will enter the Aaron’s franchise system. They will operate as Aaron’s Sales & Lease Ownership stores. In addition, as per agreement, Alliance will assume ownership of one of Aaron’s current-operated stores and merge it with its newly franchised Aaron’s Sales & Lease Ownership store, which is located in Wichita Falls, Texas. At the same time, Aaron Rents will acquire two Alliance stores and merge them into the existing ASLO stores. On the other hand, Alliance will sell its remaining store to Briley Investments, Inc. who already converted its Rent City stores to the ASLO franchise system last month.

Alliance has also entered into an area development agreement to open three additional franchised Aaron’s Sales & Lease Ownership stores over the next several years. All of the stores stated and part of the agreement are located in the Texas state.

Aaron Rents is excited about Alliance joining their franchise program through the conversion of the latter’s stores into the Aaron’s system. The former also feels that numerous opportunities exist in the near future to convert other rental operators into Aaron’s Sales & Lease Ownership franchisees.

Aaron Rents, Inc. is Atlanta-based. They currently have more than 1,300 stores in 47 states and Canada for the rental and sale of residential and office furniture, accessories, consumer electronics and household appliances. They also manufacture furniture, bedding and accessories at 12 facilities in five states in the US.
