Recently, Steelcase has introduced a new task chair at the NeoCon 2007. This is a trade fair for interior design and space planning which is held in Chicago . Steelcase Inc., a company that creates designs and makes office furniture and technology products.
It provides and designs innovative products in North America and continue to showcase their expertise in other locations all over the world. The new task chair is included in the Alive Seating portfolio of Steelcase, the chair is called Amia. The office chair has features that enable comfort and long term sitting for the user. It also allows dynamic movement and user control which aims to provide comfort to its operator. Imagine sitting behind your office desk for hours without feeling any back pain.
The chair has a system of flexors within the support zone, this is very important for it provides ample support for the back area which is prone to pain with bad sitting posture. The flexors move up and down to allow the users to navigate it with ease. It also comes with seat adjustment, height, width, pivot, and dept adjustable arms by default. This type of chair is very useful in work environments that require 24 hour support like call centers or healthcare facilities.
