Product Knowledge at NeoCon to be presented by Atlas Ergonomics
Atlas Ergonomics founder Drew Bossen will given the chance to unveil the “missing link” in furniture investment on this year’s NeoCon World’s Trade Fair in Chicago.
“Regardless of how advanced an office ergonomic product is, if the employee is unaware of product features and how to use them effectively, then the investment is lost,” Bossen said.
NeoCon is the place where the office furniture industry gathers to reveal its most anticipated new ergonomic designs. Held every June, the event will affirm the excitement of the industry with more than 50,000 design professionals and hundreds of networking events and parties. Atlas Ergonomics plans to reiterate a vital component that seems to be missing in the designs of office furniture. This happens to be user knowledge.
Drew Bossen’s presentation will cover an Atlas research that shows a quantifiable relationship between employee knowledge of products and the long-term impact on worker health and safety. “Regardless of how advanced an office ergonomic product is, if the employee is unaware of product features and how to use them effectively, then the investment is lost,” Bossen said.
The Atlas founder is a licensed physical therapist with an MBA. He has helped large companies reduce injury-related costs by as much as 86%. Now at the trade fair, Drew can reach out to a larger audience about the many important aspects of ergonomic office furniture. The presentation he is about to give has already been summarized in a recent Atlas white paper titled, “Product Knowledge and the Effect on Reducing Office Employee Discomfort.”
The company hopes to help customers reduce the spiraling costs of work related injuries within industrial, office, commercial transportation, public transit, and health care environments. Atlas Ergonomics guides clients to financially evaluate and define the appropriate strategy, and offers services that are uniquely simple, measurable, and cost effective.
