This is why a lot of home and office furniture manufacturers are applying the Techline approach to their product lines. Highpoint , North Carolina international home furnishings market, recently unraveled new home office furnishings that are adaptable and flexible but still gives that stunning look and feel in a room.

Riverside Furniture, a company that offers a variety of quality furniture for the bedroom, dining and living room and even home offices, has launched the “Cobble Hill” which is a laptop cocktail table. It includes storage space for files, printer or scanner and a power port in the storage space. This comes in a classic black or white finish with the styles of a coffee table. A portion of the table slides out and transforms into a laptop surface. They also introduced a barrel roll top desk in a medium-distressed black finish that can house electronics as well.



Sligh, a company engaged in designing and manufacturing home or office furniture and furnishings including desks and bookcases, showcases their “Tahoe Collection which includes two pedestals, credenza, file cabinet and book case. Another line they introduced was an upscale collection they called “Mira”. It features built in surge suppressor and docking ports for computers, cameras and other electronics. It has Neoclassic designs highlighted in mahogany and silver-pearl finish hardware.

Hooker Furniture, an 82-year-old manufacturer and importer of furniture, has introduced the “Smart Hutch” which was featured in the Danforth Home office group. This is a storage for electronics and it sits atop the Danforth office desk and has two interchangeable box drawers, one for outlets and for power charging.
