At this year’s Office Exhibition held in Dubai recently, the “New ways of working” proved to be the more favorite of subjects discussed at the Workplace Freedom seminars. OFIS, the furniture, flooring and interior solutions business of the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, together with Samas , took over the presentations.
Samas’ Theo Magermans, Director of Business Development, mentioned in support of the needneed for a lively work environment and traffic congestion as key reasons for introducing the ‘Village Office’ idea in the UAE. This endeavor was well received by the audience who were architects, designers, and office owners who attended the seminars as part of the exhibition.

A lot of things must be taken into consideration during the delivery of the office furnitures. One should be keen in discussing some pertinent matters regarding the delivery, especially when it comes to the additional charges, or extra fees in case of any change of plans on your side. Make sure that all things will be cleared with the furniture store representative before pushing through. Here are some topics you must discuss:
1-Assembly: While some delivery men are willing to assemble bookcases, level lateral files, or install bases on small tables after delivering the products—some may not. But if they do, it will be able to save you some money, so discuss this matter beforehand with the furniture store representative.
2- Cancellation charges: Take full note of the policy for delivery cancellations or delays with the furniture store representative because in certain occasions, cancellation fees may be required.

Offices must have proper temperature so it can emanate a comfortable environment for its workers. If not, communication and performance may get constricted and eventually affect the whole corporation. The temperature must neither be too hot or too cold in order for it to exude a cozy and relaxed atmosphere.
It would be obvious that temperature cannot be controlled by merely adjusting the air conditioning system. Some parts of the office may be exposed to sunlight making it more warm that other spots. In line with this, adjusting the aircon may cause an issue between employees who having preferences for warmth. Today, an office furniture company is releasing a device which would take care of this dilemma.
