March 7, 2007Good-priced Office Furniture, Good Service-II
The mark of the better office furniture dealer will give the discount—and the best staff to face the queries of the customers. Whether it be concerns on functionality, style, and comfort, having the staff who bests in this category are the best investments of the store. If one happens to be preparing to buy office furnitures for a redecorating or renovation effort, one should be able to feel free to carry around the paint swatches or floor plans to the showroom. Showroom staff are very knowledgeable when it comes to these things, so they are most likely to give great suggestions regarding the color combinations.
Online selling has a lot of advantages too such as attaining low overheads for both the store and the customers. However, it is still the physical presence that most people are counting on, and that may be something that the Internet can not provide. Probably the best way to go at it is to sell online, and then put up a showroom. That would be a good compromise.

Basically, protagonists are weighed not on how big their offices are, but usually on the fixtures, amenities, furniture and other high-end office appliances their offices have. Thus, one may tend to out-rightly dispose an otherwise slightly tattered appliance for fear of being branded as low class. Worst, most just throw away good old furniture only because it is outdated or seemingly obsolete.
What we don’t know is that the enormous number of these so called “junky furniture” from establishments, schools, and medical offices nationwide is being dumped into landfills.
Reducing Strain on Our Landfills
According to The Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association (BIFMA), approximately half of the scrap currently generated may be ending up in landfills.” Much of this so called “waste” can still serve a purpose.
The good news is, these good old “grandpa furniture” that might go to a landfill can easily be refurbished or remanufactured. Reupholster your panel. Replace a rickety roller on an office chair; bring on some new upholstery and it is as good as new!
